     A new hypertext Catalog on a Disk is available free of charge from Best
Power Technology, Inc. The full-color, interactive disk is a virtual encyclopedia
of information on protecting computers and other sensitive electronics from power
problems.
     Featuring an easy-to-use, ~point and click~ user interface, the BEST
Catalog on a Disk instantly responds to each user's information needs with more
than two megabytes of helpful information. In addition to a complete description
of BEST's award-winning line of power protection products, the Catalog on a
Disk includes a number of innovative features:
      Color Product Photography: Unlike many computer-based ~catalogs,~
the BEST Catalog on a Disk features actual on-screen color product photography,
so users can see the devices being described.
      Interactive Graphics: Many of the photographs and diagrams in the
presentation are interactive; users can click on anything they see in the graphic to
get more information on it.

      Handy UPS Sizing Program: By clicking on a button, users can invoke
a UPS Sizer. The program asks questions about the computer system the user
wishes to protect, calculates total VA load and system growth, and makes specific
product recommendations based on the criticality of the user's application. The
UPS Sizer can also be run as a stand-alone DOS application.
      Animated Diagrams: The BEST Catalog on a Disk uses animation to
make block diagrams come to life. Users gain a clearer understanding of how
various UPS designs work.
      Index and Search Function: In addition to a table of contents and a
navigation control panel at the bottom of most screens, the Catalog on a Disk also
features easy-to-use index and search functions. These navigation tools help users
quickly find the information they need.
      Guided Tour: Users who prefer a quick, self-running presentation can
click on Guided Tour, an automated excursion visiting many of the catalog's
highlights.
     The BEST Catalog on a Disk runs on any DOS-compatible PC equipped
with a VGA monitor and hard drive. Although not required, a mouse is highly
recommended. It is available on a 3 1/2" or 5 1/4" diskette.
